Educator Bio

Cait Hachmyer is a farmer at Red H Farm, agroecology professor at Sonoma State University, mentor and teacher with Agroecology Commons, researcher looking at the winter CSA model with Western SARE, and co-director of the organization Celebrating Women's Leadership in Food. She lives and tends land in the territory of the Coast Miwok people, now also called Sonoma County, CA. She has been instructing courses with Climate Farm School in Northern California and Italy since 2022.
